A series of 8 illustrations commissioned by the Pièrre.Vers Theater Collective in Düsseldorf for their play about the third Majdanek Trial of 1975. The illustrations were projected during the performance, providing visual interludes within the intense courtroom drama. The artwork explores the emotional journey of Majdanek survivors who returned to Germany to testify against their former SS captors, capturing their struggle to confront their past trauma while facing intense pressure from defense lawyers and right-wing groups. The illustrations aimed to convey the survivors' strength and dignity as they faced their former tormentors in court, thirty years after the war.
