Takal Badalak

An illustration created for the "Point of Origin" exhibition during the Outline Festival in Jerusalem, exploring immigrant expressions in Israeli culture. The artwork was inspired by the Iraqi-Jewish phrase "Takal Badalak" (meaning "eat up"), which my grandmother would say during family meals. The piece depicts traditional Iraqi dishes and captures the warmth of cultural heritage passed down through food and language.
